During a visit to a Ukrainian unit, Eyes on Ukraine chair Iryna met a very special survivor: a dog rescued from the zero line by drone.

The soldiers used their drone to fly the dog away from the frontline, bringing it out of the explosions and to safety. Today, the lucky dog is staying with the soldiers.

The generator shown in the video was supplied by Eyes on Ukraine and is used, among other things, to charge the batteries that keep the unit’s drones flying.

Equipment such as generators doesn’t just provide electricity. It helps keep essential equipment operational, and sometimes, it even helps save a dogs life.

Iryna speaks Dutch in the video. English subtitles are available and can be turned on in the video player.
