Maxim, our man in the field, visited a command post of the volunteer formation “Trostyanets”. He spoke with Deputy Commander Denis about the reality of defending Ukrainian skies.

Four mobile fire groups, operate around the clock—tracking, chasing, and engaging aerial threats. Equipped with heavy machine guns, thermal imaging, and real-time detection systems, they move fast: ready to deploy and engage within 15 minutes.

Despite the risks, from kamikaze drones to coordinated strikes, these crews continue their mission: intercepting targets up to 1000 meters high and protecting the skies above their communities.

This is modern air defense at the frontline. This is resilience in action.

Eyes on Ukraine supports these mobile air defense groups by supplying power stations, ensuring their critical equipment stays operational when it matters most.
